Weekly News Update

Welcome Back!
A very warm welcome to our Year 1 and Year 2 children, our Nursery children and, of course, our new intake of Nursery and Reception children. We are delighted to welcome you all to our school.
It has been so lovely to be back, and I hope you all had a wonderful summer. We have certainly had a busy first week! The children have been settling into routines, re-establishing friendships and making lots of new friends. It has been a busy week, and we even managed to squeeze in a fire drill! All the children responded so well and left the building in just 3 minutes and 3 seconds — very impressive!
As Headteacher, I try to be on the playground every morning and after school on the main playground. Please do come and catch me if you need anything or would like to have a chat. I am always happy to help.
A few housekeeping points:
- Please make sure you name your children’s water bottles. We already have eight water bottles in lost property!
- Please look out for information about our after-school clubs. We are very proud of the fantastic range of clubs we offer and hope there is something for everyone.
