Dear Parents,

I was delighted to accompany Owls and Foxes class on their school trip to see the SS Great Britain this week. I was very proud of the children who showed they were kind, safe and ready throughout the trip. The children enjoyed dressing up and learning all about bygone times.

It's also been Science Week - Reception were lucky enough to meet some Owls, from Owl Enlightenment. There have been lots of classroom experiments and Year 1 have visited Millfield school to get up close to some creepy-crawlies. Our science week will run into next week, with the second year 1 class having their science visit to Millfield. Mrs Brammer will be looking at all the science selfie competition entries, too - there is still time to get your entry in.

Finally, please don't forget your Parents' Evening slots next week. Check the posts on ClassDojo for the up-to-date lists.

Reminder that Owls Class parents' evenings have been postponed. We will be in touch regarding this.

I hope you have a restful weekend,

Kerry Devane
