Message from the Headteacher

 Dear Parents/Carers,

What a week of changeable weather, from cancelled sports day to moments of beautiful sunshine. The flowers in our playground have thrived though, and just in time for the Glastonbury in Bloom judges who are due to visit next week. We hope we can show off the children's gardening skills in style.

We are hopeful that our re-arranged Sports Day on Tuesday 16th will go ahead as planned. Please remember to wear your team colours. Parents are very welcome to walk to St Benedict's School with us, or to meet us there from 9:30am.

And finally, thank you to Selina from Somerset Libraries who visited us this week to introduce the Summer Reading Challenge. Our Library in Glastonbury is a fantastic resource, right on our doorstep, to keep everyone reading through the summer. Remember it is just as important for children to be read to, and the library is a great space to share a story.
