Message from the Headteacher

Dear Parents,

I was very lucky to be part of the Nursery Graduation on Thursday. The children, teachers and families were very proud of their children.

As each of our children take their next step in their education journey, I want to assure you that we are always striving to make every child's experience memorable and impactful.

Childhood is such a precious and short time, it is important that we get it right. We can't do that without the support of you as families. It was so lovely to see so many families at the Graduation. I hope we will see the same next Thursday at the Year 2 Leavers service.

Have a great weekend, despite the awful weather.

Parenting Tip

RELATIONSHIPS

This week, I met a parent who wanted help with her child's behaviour at home. During our chat, it came out that she had been severely bullied in school and her adult relationships all followed a similar theme - she felt like her boundaries were always ignored, and that she didn't feel able to assert herself or expect her needs to be met to.

When we looked at the behaviour causing concern at home, we noticed that the behaviour she is struggling with in her child was very much like her difficulties with relationships in general. What's your relationship style? How does it impact on how your child responds to you?
