Message from the Headteacher

 Dear Parents/Carers,

It feels like Christmas has crept up on us, and suddenly we are opening advent windows and there are Christmas trees everywhere!

This week I have 2 pieces of good news, one is that county will be resurfacing our playground and the second is that we have a received a grant for new books for our library.

The playground will hopefully be resurfaced in the Easter holidays. This will include the removal of the blue and yellow surface and trim trail. Despite the trim trail being very popular with the children it has been in place for nearly 20 years and as it breaks, has been costly to fix and no longer value for money. We will start to plan with the children what should go in its place, and will continue to fundraise and apply for further grants to do this.

The grant for library books will support our commitment to children having access to high quality texts and literature including IT resources for talking stories. Thank you to our Parent Governor Miranda Millan for making this dream become a reality.

Please make sure you have all the Christmas events on your calendar. It's a very busy time of year, and we wouldn't want you to miss anything.

Have a restful weekend,

Kerry Devane
