Message from the Headteacher

 Dear Parents/Carers,

It was so nice to see so many of you at the Harvest Festival today. The Year 1 children led a wonderful service. All the food donated will be sent to a local food bank.

Twelve of our children became 'Class Ambassadors' this week and attended their first meeting with our PSHE lead Miss James. The children will attend weekly meetings and be the children's voice in making decisions and ensuring that the Well being of our children remains a priority, as well as making sure the school is a place where everyone is kind, safe and ready. This week the Year 2 Ambassadors were stewards at our new weekly event our 'Friyay Disco' in the corridors. See separate ClassDojo post. I am looking forward to all the positive work our ambassadors will be doing.

Have a restful weekend.

Thank you for your support,

Kerry Devane

Parenting Tip

Putting 'Loving Limits' in your relationships

It's okay to put boundaries in your relationships, even those with your child. With children, I call these 'Loving limits'.

Loving limits don't mean that you harshly control, or limit the other person, or seek to change them. Just be clear about how you expect to be treated and make that treatment mutual. Healthy boundaries include showing gratitude, being respectful of differences of opinion, fostering independence, being honest and taking responsibility for our own actions.
