Weekly News Update
Dear all,
It has been so lovely this week to enjoy some final rays of sunshine as we move into the autumn equinox.
We have been asked by Glastonbury Town Council to make sure you have your say on the exciting plans to improve Abbey Park at the top of the town. Please do follow the link and fill in the questionnaire. It will be our children using the park, so your voice is important!

Wear It Yellow
The children have also been busy painting and drawing sunflowers for the St Margaret’s Hospice Sunflower Competition. Don’t forget that on 9th October we will be wearing yellow to show our support for the vital work that this local charity does. If you could bring in a small monetary donation, we would be very grateful.
📚 Reading
Reading is a really important part of your child’s education. Please do read the books that are sent home with them and remember to bring book bags in on Thursdays so that we can change their books.
🌱 Our Playground
We have had lots of bulbs donated, but not many plants. Perhaps you could pop a few plants into your trolley this weekend to help us brighten up our school grounds. Every little contribution makes a difference!
⭐ Our Legacy Leaders
Finally, the children have been putting themselves forward for leadership roles within the school. Our Legacy Leaders make a real difference to our school community. We have Worship Leaders, Clean and Green Leaders and lots more.
I will share more information about our wonderful Legacy Leaders next week.
