Weekly News Update

Dear all,

We hope you all had a great time with Pro Direct on the MUGA after school. Football fever has certainly been high at St John's during the world cup. Thank you for your support with Football Fridays.

The children have all coped brilliantly with the weather and the tweaks we have made to the school day as the weather has heated up again.  Next week is looking hot, too, so we will continue to monitor the forecasts and keep you informed of any changes we need to consider.

I am looking forward to attending the Nursery graduation on Thursday as we prepare to see our eldest Butterflies take flight.

Please remember your child is invited to donate a Birthday Book to our library on their birthday rather than bringing in sweets or cakes. Some of our children have dietary requirements and we like to encourage healthy eating at school. Their Birthday Book donation will have their name inside and will be a lasting legacy for all to enjoy.

Wishing you all a lovely weekend. Keep cool, stay hydrated, and see you on Monday.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support.

Kerry Devane (Headteacher)

Our PTA has had an incredible year, working tirelessly to raise an amazing £10,388.65 so far.

Thanks to the generosity, enthusiasm and support of our wonderful school community, these funds are already making a real difference for our children.

This year, the PTA has proudly funded improvements to our Forest School area, helped re-lay the turf in the paddock, and supported enhancements to the Reception playground—creating exciting, safe and inspiring spaces where children can learn, play and thrive.

Every event attended, donation made and hour volunteered has contributed to these achievements, and together we're continuing to invest in enriching the school experience for every child.

Thank you!
