Weekly News Update

Dear all,

It has been a busy week, and with the temperature dropping, some normality has returned.

The children in Year 2 enjoyed a wonderful celebration of moving up with Rev Alice Watson at the church this week. They rang the bells, enjoyed some cake, and discovered the labyrinth. It was a lovely way to mark this special milestone.

With Sports Day taking place next week, may I please remind everyone that children should wear appropriate clothing and footwear for PE on Sports Day and on all PE days. This should include shorts, tracksuit bottoms or leggings, a T-shirt, and trainers or plimsolls.

Wearing the correct clothing is important for safety and ensures that all children can take part fully in PE lessons and activities.

Finally, please keep an eye on the school calendar so that you don't miss any upcoming school events.

Have a lovely and restful weekend. We look forward to seeing everyone next week for what promises to be another busy and exciting week.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support.

Kerry Devane (Headteacher)

Our PTA has had an incredible year, working tirelessly to raise an amazing £10,388.65 so far.

Thanks to the generosity, enthusiasm and support of our wonderful school community, these funds are already making a real difference for our children.

This year, the PTA has proudly funded improvements to our Forest School area, helped re-lay the turf in the paddock, and supported enhancements to the Reception playground—creating exciting, safe and inspiring spaces where children can learn, play and thrive.

Every event attended, donation made and hour volunteered has contributed to these achievements, and together we're continuing to invest in enriching the school experience for every child.

Thank you!
