Weekly News Update

Dear all,

As we approach the end of another busy term, please remember to keep an eye on the school calendar and key dates to ensure you don't miss any important events.

We were incredibly proud of our school choir, who recently had the wonderful opportunity to perform alongside the Glastonbury Male Voice Choir. The children represented our school brilliantly and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

A reminder that the Year 1 trip to Chew Valley Farm takes place on Tuesday. Please ensure that permission has been given and, if you are able, that a contribution towards the cost of the trip has been made. Thank you for your support.

This week, our KS1 children have been completing their Phonics Screening Checks. I have been so impressed by the progress they have made and the confidence they have shown. Their achievements are a testament to their hard work and determination. Thank you to our dedicated staff and to all our families for the support you provide at home, which makes such a difference to the children's learning.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and that we are treated to some sunshine!

Thank you, as always, for your continued support.

Kerry Devane (Headteacher)
