Weekly News Update

Dear all,

This week has flown by. We have been very lucky to receive plants from ex-pupils and parents this week, thanks to social media and Glastonbury in Bloom support.

Our next project is curating our gallery, so please let me know if you can help.

The children have loved their swimming lessons- we are just looking forward to the weather warming up a bit!

Next week, it’s all hands on deck for the Summer Fair. Please do support us in any way you can. We are looking for bric-a-brac in good condition (no toys or books, please).

We are very proud to be hosting this year’s Summer Fair in aid of the new Mayor, Zoe Price. The fete will mark her naming day, and she will join us after the official ceremony in the church.

On the day there will be lots of stalls. This year, all the games stalls will be free so that all our families and community can enjoy them. There will also be a Pimms stall and cream teas, as well as performances from our Country Dancing team, the Glastonbury Border Morris dancers, the Dragon Drummers, and of course our resident choir, the Glastonbury Male Voice Choir.

Finally, I am very much looking forward to our whole school trip to Lyme Regis on Tuesday. What a busy week and wonderful way to finish the half term.

Have a lovely weekend.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support.
