Weekly News Update

Dear Parents and Carers,

World Book Day – Thursday 5th March

We are looking forward to celebrating World Book Day next week on Thursday 5th March. To mark the occasion, children are invited to come to school wearing a hat. We can’t wait to see all of their creative ideas!

Sad Passing of Governor Jim Gurl

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of one of our long-serving governors, Jim Gurl. Jim dedicated many years of service to our school community, and his support, commitment, and care for the school will always be remembered.

Several members of staff and I will be attending his funeral next Thursday to pay our respects.

We are also planning to install a memorial plaque in the school in recognition of his many years of dedicated service.

Our thoughts are with Jim’s family and friends at this difficult time.

Warm regards,

Kerry Devane (Headteacher)
