Weekly News Update

Dear Parents and Carers,As January continues, please don’t forget about the Quiz Night on 6th February. We are very grateful to our wonderful PTA for organising such enjoyable fundraising events throughout the year.

Please also make sure you send your children into school with a warm coat — we do have spares available if you need one.

Regular reading at home is extremely important and has a significant impact on children’s progress. Reading together helps to develop vocabulary, comprehension and confidence, and it also fosters a love of books and learning. Even a few minutes each day can make a real difference.

Finally, have you seen my recent post about recruiting a new school governor? We would love to hear from anyone who may be interested.

Warm regards,

Kerry Devane (Headteacher)
