Dear Parents/Carers

With the autumn term now well underway, we are excited to share our key priorities for the year ahead. Our focus remains firmly on supporting every child to shine, and this year we are prioritising:

  • Strengthening writing across the school to ensure every child becomes a confident and capable communicator.

  • Continuing to deepen our commitment to inclusion and adaptive teaching, so that all learners are supported in the ways they need to succeed.

  • Building even stronger links with the church, especially with the appointment of Rev. Alice Watson, who joins us in her new role and will play a key part in our school community.

  • Striving for excellence in wellbeing, recognising that the emotional and mental health of our pupils and staff underpins everything we do.

  • Developing a whole-school consistency framework to ensure that behaviour, SEND provision, classroom environments, and teaching practices are consistent across the school. This work reflects the latest Ofsted priorities and reinforces our strong commitment to inclusion for all pupils.

We're looking forward to a purposeful and inspiring year together.

👉 Don’t forget – it’s the Year 2 school disco next week! We hope Year 2 children will join us after school.

🥫 Our School Pantry is currently overflowing with fresh and long-life products. Please help yourself – it’s there for everyone.

📝 Please sign up for after school clubs – see yesterday’s post on ClassDojo for details.

Have a great weekend,

Kerry Devane (Headteacher)
