What people say about St Johns
When we first moved to Street and heard that both Street schools were full, I initially felt disappointed and worried --- but I didn't need to be. My twin daughters have both thrived at St. Johns in Glastonbury, and I consider us all incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful team of educators and support staff who all share the enthusiasm for teaching and supporting the whole child, not just preparing them for an arbitrary test. Whenever I've had a concern about either one of my daughter's development, I've been listened to and made to feel supported, as though helping kids grow up well really is a team effort that we're working on together. Everyone at St Johns encourages parent engagement in a supportive, non-stressful way. The school has such a positive atmosphere, and my children really enjoy their time at school. October 2018
Both my children had a wonderful start to their educational journey at St John’s. Caring staff, nurturing environment, happy days.

We've had six happy years of involvement with St John's and can't think of a better start for our children. April 2016
The school has a relaxed informal feeling and always feels child-centred. The relationships between the Nursery and the school is great - brilliant for moving on into main school as staff are familiar, classrooms are just next door. April 2016
My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed her time here. She has been nurtured and educated within a family environment giving her a feeling of belonging. We couldn't have asked for a better start to her education. September 2016
It is a happy learning environment with a lot of emphasis on the individual. I feel there is a lot of encouragement and praise as well as opportunities for children to explore creative activities. April 2016
