From Septemebr 2022, our school day will start at 8.40am when the school classroom doors are opened. Children are then registered. The Key Stage One children (Year 1 and 2) have a morning break at 11am. Lunchtime arrangements start at 11.30am for the Reception children, followed by the rest of the school and finish at 1.15pm. Assemblies are held in the mornings at 9am or in the afternoons at 2.30pm. The school day will finish at 3.10pm. This is a total of 32.5hours per week. Attendance Matters

We expect children to be in school on time every day, ready to learn. Please see our Attendance and Punctuality Policy on the School Pages of this website. Each Autumn, we send home a leaflet which highlights the importance we place on Attendance and Punctuality. Classes are rewarded for good attendance.

Assemblies and collective worship

An assembly is held in each school each day led by a member of school staff. Assemblies often include visitors to the school eg St John's Vicar, our local librarian or are themed, eg birthday assembly, celebration assembly, etc.
