An update is attached, at the bottom of this page, from our Headteacher, Mrs Turner, following the announcement made by the Prime Minister on the 10th May 2020.

Our school during the COVID19 pandemic.

Our school, like all other schools in the UK, is currently closed. Please rest assured that we will contact you as soon as we know when this will change. We are using Class Dojo as a Learning platform to support you with home learning. Please also see our home learning page here: Home Education at St John's

Meal Vouchers

While school is closed, if your child receives a  pupil premium grant you will receive food vouchers which you can use in all major supermarkets. You will receive these from the Department for Education weekly, each email will contain an e-code which you can exchange for a voucher for a supermarket of your choice. Please use this guide if you are experiencing any difficulties.

Emergency Schooling for some children

As part of St John’s response to coronavirus (COVID-19), we have been asked to continue to provide care for a limited number of children - those who are vulnerable (including those with an education, health and care plan), and those whose parents or carers are critical to the coronavirus (COVID-19) response.
