Starting School
When children first start school it can be a daunting prospect for both them and their parents. In order for this process to go as smoothly as possible we set up stay and play sessions where the children can meet their new teacher and become familiar with their classrooms.
Class Dojo
We understand the importance of communicating to parents so that you know what your child is doing in school as well as keeping you up to date with news and events that happen.
Because of this, in addition to the weekly newsletter that is sent out we also use Class Dojo, this is a child-friendly website where teachers post weekly pictures about what we have been up to in school as well as informing parents of any classroom related news,
Any information that is posted on Class Dojo can only be seen by teachers and parents of St. John's school. If for any reason you would prefer not have your child pictured on Class Dojo please do inform us. If you do not yet have Class Dojo please pass your email address to the school office so that we can add you on.
Dojo is the easiest and quickest way to stay up to date with your child's class.
